Our Lady of the Lake Health Innovation Scholarship 

Transforming healthcare through applied science, analytics and industrial engineering.

The purpose of this scholarship is to support industrial engineering graduate students completing either the Healthcare Analytics or Healthcare System Engineering Graduate Certificates, delivered via LSU online.

The scholarship will cover half of the cost ($4,500) of the 12 total credit hours required to complete either certificate for one calendar year.

Recipients will be chosen through a competitive application process, using the application package below. 

The package consists of:

One-page written summary
The applicant’s resume or CV
Interest Summary: Provide a one-page summary of your rational for pursing the graduate certificate and include the following information:Cycle to start award (first fall, second fall, first spring, second spring, first summer or second summer)

Admission Requirements

Although there are no restrictions regarding the major area of study pursued in the baccalaureate program, graduates of curricula outside the program area will be required to satisfy prerequisite requirements in the program area. This prerequisite work will not carry graduate credit but is intended to satisfy deficiencies. The number of courses required will depend on the student's background and preparation; such requisite courses may have prerequisites that need to be fulfilled prior to enrolling in those courses.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution or equivalent foreign institution
  • At least a 3.00 (on a 4.0 scale) GPA overall in their undergraduate courses and in any graduate work already completed
  • Official transcripts of all previous college or university work
